Dahlia is an abstract sculpture, made from using the hand-building technique, coiling. This hollow bodied piece is comprised from heavily grogged white clay and is texturised by hand, giving a natural and rough finish to the sculpture. Using a combination of softly curved edges and sharp hard lines playing with composition and balance.
