Terms of service.

 

All ceramic pieces are made by hand by Caitlin Robson on Gadigal Land in Sydney, Australia.
Each piece has been handcrafted with care and intention. They may differ slightly due to their unique, handmade nature. Variations may include but are not limited to colour, texture, and size.

Pieces are made in limited quantities.

All made-to-order pieces have a 4-6 week turnaround.

All prices are listed in AUD.

All commission-based sculptures are subject to design fees depending on the scope of the project. Please contact the studio for any inquiries.

CARE:

To clean your piece, please hand wash with clear soap in warm water. We like to embrace the characteristics that make up the ageing process of each piece, although magic erasers will almost always remove any marks.

Stoneware is known to be a durable clay body, however it is vulnerable to breakage if mishandled. Caitlin Robson Studio is not liable for broken pieces from improper handling or any damages to surfaces after point of delivery.

SHIPPING:

All orders will be dispatched within 48 hours of placing your order online. This is with the exception of pre-orders / Made-to-order pieces.

AUS orders will take approximately 3-7 business days to arrive.
International orders will take approximately 7-14 business days to arrive.

All International orders will have shipping calculated at checkout and is dependent on your location.

Caitlin Robson Studio cannot be held responsible for delays caused by customs or late / missing deliveries. 

INTERNATIONAL VAT & CUSTOMS DUTY:

The purchaser is solely responsible for VAT and customs Duties. If you are interested in receiving a quote for shipping please contact the studio.


RETURNS:

Each piece is handcrafted with care, we ask you select your piece thoughtfully as we do not offer refunds for change of mind.

All sculptural and functional works are final sale.

We ensure breakage is avoided by packaging all pieces thoroughly and securely. Each piece is insured for its full amount.
In the event of damaged goods, the carrier requires the following documentation from the receiver within 24 hours of receiving your package in order for Caitlin Robson studio to be reimbursed for any damage.

  • Photograph of the box prior to opening, especially damaged boxes

  • Take a photo of inside the box with all packaging materials unwrapped.

  • Carefully unwrap the piece and take a photo.

  • Take a photo of the damages claimed, including the entire piece, highlighting any specific areas to address.

Claims are handled on a case-by-case basis and insufficient evidence may result in your claim being rejected. 

If you adhere to this policy, and the shipper agrees with the documentation, a replacement piece can be made otherwise there will be a charge to remake the piece.

Please note, it is the responsibility of the customer to cover shipping costs to dispatch their updated order upon return of goods.

Caitlin Robson Studio cannot be held liable for return parcels that are lost. In turn, we recommend returning the parcel using a registered postal service.   

Caitlin Robson Studio reserves the right to deny a return if it does not meet our returns policy.
